SureStay Hotel by Best Western San Diego Pacific Beach

It met and exceeded my expectations for a value added budget hotel.

Dingy, uncomfortable, and gross place to stay without any basic amenities for the price charged.

–The bed sheets were not changed and clearly were soiled and smelling from the previous guest’s stay. The bathroom was untidy and the toilets didn’t flush properly. The floor in the room was very dirty and cannot walk barefoot as some grime would stick to your feet. Very uncomfortable and gross…

+We like the carpetless room. Location was near restaurants, churches, & freeway. The staff was friendly and easy check in.

–The room was tight and dog fees were ridiculously expensive! 70$ per night is outrageous. If they are charging for dogs stay then the hotel should provide something for the dogs such as snacks or towels. We have stayed at others hotels with dog fees of 15$ per dog/ night.

–Noisy. Rooms have issues: fridge, clogged sink, AC having difficulty
