Pacific Terrace Hotel

I would come back in the near future.

+Clean and relaxing

–The wine that we had for evening by the pool.

A fun hotel right on the beach, but don’t expect quiet, privacy, or a decent restaurant.

+The location is fun, and very convenient to the beach. The staff is great. We really enjoyed the entertainment - a fire dancer and a steel drum duo and both were terrific!

–There is not really a restaurant, just some tables on the patio with food mostly take-out from a restaurant around the corner. The food was mostly greasy burgers and tacos. They prepared breakfast onsite, but everything I tried was swimming in grease. Our room location (partial ocean view?) was…

We plan to return next year for a week. We loved watching the surfers, easy to access beach walkway, sunsets, and people

+Staff were extremely friendly and professional. A lot of attention to details - such as equipped kitchenettes, turndown service with chocolates.

+The pool and hot tub were fabulous. The view was beautiful. It was clean and comfortable and the staff was very solicitous.

Very pleasant, and comfortable

+Very relaxed hotel, spacious rooms, great beds, very clean. We stayed on the ground floor with a terrace door opening right on to the pool which felt for us quite nice and easy. There is some noise from the pool area but nothing major and it gets quiet in the evening. The restaurant is indeed small…

–the only mild complain is maybe that they have sliding wooden interior window shutters which - though they do look quite pretty - do not close down very well so there is quite a bit of light in the room during the night from the lamps just outside the window. But not a major nuisance!
