Nice weekend overall

+Walking distance to the beach and restaurants and shops

–Huge property on the older side. So rooms are a bit dingy and old

We had a nice relaxing and enjoyable time.

+The location was good. The food at the restaurants was good as well.

–It had been a very long time since we stayed at the Bahia and I was looking forward to the room service they used to have. Unfortunately, they no longer have it so it was a disappointment for me.

Perfectly relaxing. Have stayed here multiple times and will keep coming back.

+Perfect location, calm and quiet bay to relax on day and night plus an easy walk to Mission and Pacific Beach. Love the thoughtful details i.e. cabanas on private beach, beautiful and well maintained grounds, attentive staff and management. Everyone here works hard to maintain the resort feel.

–The TV covered the bedroom window in the particular room we had. Wish the restaurant had more vegan options other than hummus and salad, but luckily lots of other options in SD.

Convenient location with great view but not worth the price for the outdated room and lack of cleanliness

+The view and convenience of having a private beach was nice

–The rooms were small, and seemed outdated for the price. Unfortunately our beachfront room wasn’t ready by the “guaranteed” 4PM hour and we had to wait an additional 30 min before receiving our room key. Normally I wouldn’t make a deal out of this but after making an 11 hr road trip with 3 kids…

+Good location and friendly staff. Easy walk to Belmont park and mission beach.

–Not well maintained overall and some issues with cleaning. From the moment you walk into the lobby you get a sense of things- musty and dated. Choose rooms carefully as there are many buildings and some obviously much newer/updated than others.

+Hot tub and seals. The beach. Close to beach and bay. Good food at the beach. Saw seals being fed. My mom was given a great view from her room. Drink at hot tub. Another day was delicious, and the hot tub was clean and hot like I remember from my first stay here with my daughter and mom.

–I'm disappointed with Bianchi. Server spilled drink on my mom. Food wasn't as good as i thought it would be. They put us in the wrong room when we checked in. So it took a while to get that straightened out. The hot tub wasn't working the first time we used it. The water was milky.
