OUTRIGGER Waikiki Paradise Hotel

Great Experience.

+I liked that the hotel was priced well and it was very close to everything. The beach was only a block a way. We found a cute tourist shop as well, so were able to purchase souvenirs. Our car rental was just down the street. Everything seemed close.

–We arrived late because our plane was delayed, so we got to the hotel about 9:00ish and there was only one person at the check in counter. It was annoying because we wanted to grab the key and get to the room as quickly as possible. But I wouldn't say the wait was that long. We were just tired.

–Mattress medium -soft as I'm used to medium- firm but not a big deal

Enjoyable stay

+The location was good. Close to Waikiki beach, cafes, ABCs etc

–Our initial presentation when politely asking if we could check in - it was around 11:00am was to be curtly told it would cost an extra $75.00 to check-in. We had had an early departure from our cruise ship so asked if there was somewhere we might be able to store our suitcases was again to be told…

Good, but eating in waikiki is expensive!

–The restaurant was good, but limited and expensive. But priced about the same as other restaurant in waikiki

Great location

+Room was comfortable. Conveniently located to shops, target etc and a short walk to the beach.

–I can’t fault the hotel, though currently there are building works across the road- a little noisy early morning with trucks and workers.
