Encore at Wynn Las Vegas

Had a good time, but not really worth the price. Maybe this is a Vegas thing, not an Encore thing.

+The hotel is, on the surface, very good. The room is great, bathroom very clean, the elevators are fast, etc. The location is also good, for Vegas. (Nothing is truly walkable in Vegas - distances are deceiving because of the size of the buildings - but there is a mall right "beside" the Encore.)

–They will nickel-and-dime you left and right. Open the mini bar to cool that water you brought? Charge. Pick up something from the room display just to see what it is? You bought it. 40 dollars.

Nice place but certainly not luxury

+Encore is close to many fun attractions, that why I originally picked it.

–Sadly that was the mainly only positive thing. For a higher up-scale location, I thought I would be treated more, but at the end of the day, it’s your basic Vegas hotel, it seems. Any other place in the world, upscale luxury means celebrating your guests. We don’t get welcomed, there was not a free…

An amazing place

+Impeccable. I keep coming back every year, and it is by far the best hotel in town! The quality of everything and the attention to detail is unprecedented!

–The pool hours are 9AM to 5PM. I wish it could be at least 8AM to 6PM..))

Would not go back other hotels give higher service for your money.

+Usual high quality for this type hotel.

–Do not expect anything for free but seeing as it was our wedding hotel could have made even the smallest of efforts. WiFi was not good, having to log in and out daily. Smart room controls really did not work well, and I do feel food and drink was over priced even to its sister hotel.

Very comfortable and relaxing

+The room itself was huge and the in-room tablet that controls everything? dangerously convenient. Honestly, draw a bath, throw on one of those cloud-level robes….;) Their breakfast buffet is massive and one of my favorites on the strip!

–The fridge in my room started humming like it was training for a marathon… and then kept leveling up until it was basically a full-blown motor concert. To their credit, the hotel sent a tech up right away and even offered to move me.

Elegant higher class of people we feel comfortable with!

+I love the food guilting guests never too crowded when we go and we love that. Nice and Quiet around the pool restaurants are awesome! Shows are amazing!

–Three times we have been here I run HOT and the air conditioning doesn’t reach the bed at night! My friends said the same thing too hot at night for us! I need it cold to sleep! Only room cold was the sitting room and air conditioning seems to only cool the windows, Not the whole room! My only…
