Base Camp Anchorage Hostel

Hostels are uniquely different from a hotel in that guests share dorm rooms for sleeping as well as common spaces. For the safety of our community, we are unable to host travelers who are feeling ill. Please notify staff if you are not feeling well; which includes a sore throat, cough, runny nose, or a fever. Please note that a major credit card is required upon arrival. A debit card does not qualify as a major credit card, and will not be accepted. The female-only and coed dormitories have 2 bunk beds in each room (4 beds total). The property does not assign particular beds to each guest, and cannot guarantee you will receive a bottom bunk. A top bunk would require you to be able to climb a ladder to the upper bed. If you are planning to arrive after 23:00, a late check-in can be arranged by using the Special Requests box when booking. The property will send information with late check-in instructions 1-2 prior to arrival. Due to the increasing demand, extra time and logistics, and limited supply of bottom bunk beds, (which may require asking a guest to switch beds during their stay), there is a $2 per day fee for bottom bunk requests.
